Downloading the plugin and the basic themes
To install Simpods MVC download these two zip files: Simpods MVC plugin, Simpods Basic theme.
Installing the Simpods MVC plugin
Upload the Simpods MVC plugin, activate it. If you need Pods Framework, install it, and click on each component to make sure that each one is installed properly.
Create your own theme from scratch with Simpods MVC plugin and Simpods Basic theme
If you are developing a theme from scratch, rename the Simpods Basic theme, both folder and the Theme Name in style.css, upload it to your site and you are ready to start developing!
Load Simpods MVC into a third party theme
After activating the Simpods MVC plugin, copy the mvc folder from the Simpods Basic theme to your theme folder, then you are ready to develop.
We strongly recommend that you create a child theme for your theme, so it won’t be overwritten by theme updates.
